Allie and Erik were married last fall at Diamond Lake Luthern Church with the reception following at the Minneapolis Event Center. It was our first time working at the beautiful downtown venue and it was fun to get to plan the decor for the space with Allie and Erik. The wood beams and exposed ceilings allowed us to add some beautiful greenery to the chandelier’s and make the space feel more intimate.  Kindred Blooms added beautiful blooms to brighten up the space.

And every great wedding has a dog right??? Well, Dakota was certainly the center of Allie and Erik’s wedding day and their lives!! I could not miss out on the chance to personalize this beautiful wedding with images and reminders of their precious pup!!! We had Paper Rock Scissors sketch Dakota to add his image to their wedding invitations, day of stationery and cocktail napkins!!

As I go through photos of Riley and Shane’s Lafayette Club Summer Wedding it makes me have a deep craving to get back to weddings and the lake!! It also makes me realize how much gathering is how our culture has been taught to celebrate. Riley and Shane invited well over 350 guests to their wedding and they both had large wedding parties!! My philosophy has always been the more the merrier and I am sure that when we are able to return to celebrating weddings when COVID passes I will appreciate the large gatherings even more!

Riley and Shane were amazing to work with and I was also so happy to work with a great group of vendors on this wedding!! The photos do not show the July Heat that this bride and groom and wedding party stood in all day.. they were real troopers!! Blush, Champange and Greenery complimented the Lafayette Club Ballroom.. a classic combination.

Hanging Greenery and White floral at the Machine Shop in Minneapolis… A classic combination you can never go wrong with!! Brittany and Tom were married last November and from the minute I met them I knew that they were my type of couple. Brittany brought a PowerPoint print off of her design ideas and had perfectly honed in on the vision she wanted for the wedding day!! Both Brittany and Tom’s Type A personalities paired with their classic style made planning their wedding a fantastic experience.

The focal point of the Machine Shop is the Truss that runs down the middle of the space; you often see this truss decorated with Hanging Greenery, lights and flowers. Its a statement that really can be customized for any vision. For Brittany and Tom’s wedding they choose to bring in Grey linens that matched their Letterpress Invitations. White Floral and bright greenery made a pop in all of the centerpieces and My favorite element was the heart shaped Minnesota Cookies that was set in the middle of the charger plate as the favor!

As I am spending more and more time at home due to COVID-19, I have been cleaning more and more and I wanted to share with you one of my favorite Diamond Ring Cleaner from one of my favorite Bloggers Living with Landyn.

The best thing about this DIY Diamond Ring Cleaner is that you have all of the tools already on hand at home!!
All you need is..

• Windex
• Dawn
• microwave-safe dish
• soft toothbrush

Pour equal parts Windex and Dawn into the dish, and microwave the mixture for about 1 minute
CAREFULLY remove the hot mixture from the microwave.
Submerge the jewelry, and let is soak for at least 10 minutes.
Use toothbrush and give everything a gentle scrub and then rinse with water, and dry with a paper towel and you are all set!!

I try and wash my ring once a week to keep it just as shiny as it was when I got engaged!!! When I am on the go I always keep a Diamond Dazzle Stick in my car for quick touchups
