Planning a wedding with an organized bride, an adorable groom and a mother of the bride who is also an interior designer was an absolute dream and I think it can be seen in these beautiful wedding pictures!!
Greta and Drew were married on an idyllic September Day at Wayzata Community Church and The Minikahda Club. Greta and Drew’s classic style was elevated when we incorporated blue and white chinoiserie into their centerpiece and wedding design. Combining many of the families personal vases bright floral and chinoiserie charger plates completed the look.

I am sure its no surprise when you look at Leigh’s infectious smile that I loved working with her and Matt to plan their Summer Wedding at Minikahda Club in Minneapolis. The couple was sweet, bubbly and so thoughtful throughout the whole planning process.
While I have worked many weddings at Minikahda Club in the past, this was the first time I had a ceremony on the lawn and we could not have asked for a better day!! With the beautiful backdrop of Lake Calhoun in the background Leigh and Matt said their vows and then guests proceeded to the rooftop deck for Cocktail Hour. The amazing dinner was topped off by Cake From Farina Bakery and the guests then danced the night away!

Lauren and John… a classic and timeless couple for a classic wedding and venue!! Lauren and John quickly picked Minikahda Club for their wedding reception after they were engaged. It was the perfect spot for their 120 guest wedding reception on a chilly November day! Lauren loved flowers and had an eye for detail. Sadie’s Couture Flowers and Events transformed the ballroom with tons of textured florals in unique lilac and greenery hues. Printerette Press tied everything together with the simple and classic wedding invitation and the whismy and unique illustration they drew for the save the date and day of stationery! One of the final details we put on decor was ordering Macaroon Favors. LADURÉE was a favorite of the bride and grooms and the color of the macaroon perfectly matched Minikahda Club’s charger plates!
Congratulations John and Lauren and thank you for letting me be apart of your big day!!!!

It was a perfect Spring day when Katie and Luke tied the knot at Our Lady of Grace and then partied the night away at The Minikahda Club !!! This was one of the first weddings of the year and it was such a good way to start the year off right!! Katie was very Type A (I love that..and can relate!!) and my goal is that she would not have to think about a thing on the day and she would be able to let go and just enjoy herself.. and I think that it worked 🙂
Beautiful whites and greens accented the new Minikahda Club Wallpaper and decor perfectly and was the perfect way to start off spring!! My favorite part of their wedding was probably the late night snacks from McDonalds.. when I went to pick up 100 cheeseburgers and fries I got lots of strange looks from other McDonalds customers and I received a lot of rave reviews from guests!!
Happy Holidays Katie and Luke! And Thank you to the VERY talented Sewell Photography for these great photos!!!!!
