A’BULAE Wedding Planner

Ashley and Micheal were married on a Sunny and HOT August day on the rooftop of A’bulae in Downtown St. Paul! It was a beautiful and intimate wedding that featured one of the most stunning dresses I have EVER seen!! Ashley had a very clear vision of what she wanted her wedding day to look like and I was lucky enough to work with her to pull all of her ideas together to create the seamless vision for decor and for the flow of the day!! With the help of some wonderful vendors below we were able to take a classic wedding design and add lots of fun elements such as unique food stations, chocolate dipped desserts and a full floral photobooth backdrop for guests to capture their memories of the day!

I am just arriving back from a Thanksgiving Trip back home and it is always one of those trips that I come home refreshed and reflective of all of my blessings! 2018 has been another wonderful year filled with so much love, creativity and the hard work of hundreds and hundred of vendors and for that I am forever grateful!!  We hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your families!!

Now onto Demi and Ryan’s Beautiful wedding day!!! This one of many weddings we have a privilege of planning at Aria with a including Russell Heeter and Landon Oldenburger! 

Demi and Ryan hired us a year before their wedding and when they hired us, they already had most of their vendors reserved. Luckily for me, Demi had hired some of the best vendors in town and the rest of the planning was a dream! Because the couple lives out in Massachusetts we condensed all of our Decor and Design meetings into one big trip back into town and did all of the rest of the planning remotely! When the big day arrived, everything came together perfectly.. the only thing we could not predict was the ninety degree September weather! But even through all of the sweat, we had such a great time celebrating with this fantastic couple!

This wedding… Wow!!! Thats all I can say!!! I was so honored when Bailey and Matt hired us to help plan their June wedding. Not only did I feel an immmediate connection with Bailey , but I also loved how she trusted the vendors that she hired!!

At the first meeting, Bailey and Matt had a handful of inspiration photos of what they were looking for in terms of decor. Those inspiration photos then turned into sketches and ideas put on paper by Sadies Floral and PHOS Events.

Luckily for all of us, the sketch turned into a beautiful reality and on a Sunday afternoon in June Aria was transformed into a space filled with hanging chandeliers, hanging flowers, a hanging chuppa and lots and lots of beautiful white flowers and candles!!

There are few events that truly take my breath away after planning 800 weddings.. and this was one that did, not only because it was beautiful, but also because Bailey and Matt trusted the vision and never quesitoned all of the crazy sketches and mockups we made 🙂

We began and ended our 2017 wedding season at the Machine Shop and what a great a way to end such a fun wedding season! I was lucky enough to have coordinated Kira’s Sister’s wedding a few years ago.. so I was ecstatic to get the email from Kira that she was also getting married and needed some help!! When she contacted me she already had a few of her key vendors booked and just needed assistance pulling together a lot of her design ideas and making sure that everything flowed well throughout the day!

Like alot of our 2017 couples.. Kira and Max loved the colorful and soft touch that greenery brought to the venue and we incorporated alot of greenery in the table decor as well as on the stationery! Andrew Vick brought his usual energy to the rainy day to make sure that even the weather would not put a damper on the day!
