Let me first start off by saying that it has taken me an hour to try and narrow down photos for this blog post! Not only because Joe and Jen Photography make it really hard to pick favorites, but also because a LARGE Two Day Western and Hindu Fusion Wedding had a lot of wonderful moments and memories to sort through!
For Sarah and Brian’s fusion wedding we explored TONS of options… Should we have all of the events in one day? Should we have all of the events at the same venue? Should we split it up over a Saturday and Sunday or would it be best to utlize a Friday and Saturday? After hours and hours debating, planning and stategizing the timeline and flow of both days we landed on an East meets West style; We had a traditional western church ceremony on Saturday followed by a reception for guests that had flown across the country to celebrate with Sarah and Brian. On Sunday morning we headed up to the Hindu Temple of Minnesota for the Hindu ceremony followed by a lunch and then a bright, fun and festive reception at Aria.
We wanted to utlize as many of the same vendors as possible on both days, however we wanted to give each day its own unique look and feel. For Saturday’s festivies Sarah wore a traditional (and beautiful) white gown and our decor was all very neutral, classic and understated. Sunday was the complete opposite with Sarah in a traditional Indian regalia surrounded by Bright, Bold, Colors that really kicked off the start of summer!!
As I am sure you can tell from the photos… Sarah and Brian’s smiles are infectious and both of these doctors have the deemener of a saint! Planning one wedding can easily push a couple over the edge, but trying to plan two large and very different weddings at the same time takes a tremendous amount of patience and stamina.
Sarah and Brian- You are the best! If you ever decide to plan another non-stop wedding weekend… I will be there right with you!!!!
